Spay & Neuter Assistance Program
The VAP Spay & Neuter Assistance Program is designed for those in financial need. There is a limit of two surgery vouchers per family. This program is for Fall City, North Bend, Snoqualmie, and Preston residents only. Read the guidelines below:
Applicants on public assistance may qualify if they are a participant in one of the following programs: SSD/SSI, Food Stamps, Major VA Disability, WIC, Section 9 Housing, TANF, Medicaid, a school lunch program, Unemployment or other state or federal public assistance program. You may still qualify based on financial need (listed on the application). Proof of residence will be required with application.
The following are the types documents accepted. W-9, food stamp letters, proof of unemployment, driver’s license or ID with address, Veteran ID, or a bill with your name and address on it. You may also qualify based on financial need (listed on the application).
There is a copay of $5.00 for cats and $15.00 for dogs. Pit bulls and pit bull mixes do not require a copay.
Dogs and cats must be at least 3 months of age or 3 pounds in weight and not be more than 8 years old.
Completed applications can be dropped off at “U Dirty Dog” located at 301 W. North Bend Way, North Bend or “Another Hair Place” located at 113 Bendigo Blvd N, North Bend, during business hours. ID is required with application.
Once approved, you will be called to pick up a voucher. When you receive the voucher, you will have 30 days from date of issue to schedule the sterilization appointment for your pet.
Spay and neuter services under the program are currently performed at the Bellevue Humane Society located at 13212 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue, WA 98005, phone 425 649-7560. The voucher and your photo ID must be presented to the veterinary clinic at the time of your pet’s surgery.
Transportation can be arranged for applicants without access to a car.
Valley Animal Partners cannot pay for any non-surgery related services such as vaccinations or other treatments. Any services beyond spay/neuter surgery will be at your expense.
VAP has provided spay and neuter services to over 1,000 dogs and
cats in the Valley.
The Valley Animal Partners Assistance Program is designed exclusively for residents of the Snoqualmie Valley.
To ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most, applicants must provide proof of residency within the Snoqualmie Valley. Together, we can enhance the well-being of our beloved animals while strengthening the bonds within our local community.
